An early maturing dwarf and hermaphrodite variety (matures 8 months after transplanting). Has red-fleshed and sweet fruits weighing 2kgs on average. Can bear 80-120 fruits annually.
Hass avocado is the most demanded avocado variety globally, 90% demanded of all avocado varieties. Hass avocado has the longest shelf life among all varieties up to 2-3 weeks from the time of harvesting which makes handling and shipment easy and convenient.
A mature well managed apple tree can produce more than 500 fruits in a season. An acre at a good spacing can accommodate 500 trees. A single tree can give a return of an average of 10000, and a one-acre apple orchard can give a return of Ksh 500k.
